Whole Keto Course
Welcome to the Whole Keto Course!
Introduction To Week #5
This week we are taking on the topic of fasting!
If you've ever wondered WHY fasting has become such a popular topic in the Keto Community, this is the place to learn all about it.
Jeremy and I have been personally experimenting with intermittent fasting since the beginning of 2017 and have seen some amazing benefits.
More recently, we've began to try extended fasting to harness some of the wonderful detoxification benefits that it provides to the body.
This week, we'll be diving into the research around fasting and sharing our personal stories!
If you find yourself dismissing this week as a waste of time... or thinking you'll skip over this week and save it for later. I encourage you to reconsider.
I will admit that I personally dismissed fasting initially because I had been trained that restricting calories would drop my metabolism. However, once I started researching fasting I found that the science proves this to be a myth.
I was also scared of being hungry... of having to deprive my body of food...and the emotional part of the deprivation being too much for me. I found myself coming up with all kinds of excuses and reasons why "fasting just isn't for me"...
I want to challenge you to set aside those thoughts for now and to proceed through this module with an open mind.
Now, grab your notebook and let's get started.
Note: Before attempting fasting, please consult with your medical doctor. Any fast greater than 24 hours should not be undertaken without the care of your personal physician. We are not medical professionals. No information in this module or this course is intended to diagnose, treat or cure any disease.
